Booking Rules 2021

2021 new rules are in place due to COVID see below:

  • Member Bookings will be from March 1 

  • Guest bookings will be taken from from April 1, 2021 and need to be submitted via email on 

  • Check-in will be from either Friday 4pm or Sunday 4pm and checkout will be by 9am Friday or Sunday (extensive cleaning is required per room along with the Lodge for new guests), this includes removal of all luggage / food etc to the members car.

  • The main foyer will be considered the main entry point to the lodge for all incoming members/guests as per NSW Government COVID-19 Safety Plan.

  • All members/guests will need to be greeted by the lodge manager upon check in time of 4pm onwards, in the main foyer, where they will need to register using the QR code.  If you are unable to access the QR code, Geita will assist you in completing the process. Please contact Geita on 0497018075 with your approximate arrival time at the lodge.

  • COVID safe occupancy 30 pax will be maintained throughout the season.

  • Rooms without ensuites will be allocated a specific toilet and shower for the duration of your stay.

  • It is up to the individual member/guest to ensure they and all family members are healthy and symptom free prior to arrival at Redbank Lodge – if you feel at all sick, stay home!

  • Social distancing guidelines will be enforced in the lodge itself. i.e. number of people in all common areas etc will need to be adhered to at all times. The limit of people in the common areas (kitchen, dining and lounge rooms) will be determined and displayed at the lodge.

  • It will be expected that each member will bag up their bed linen, and clean their room/ensuite/bathroom, upon departure. Please remember your hygiene and social distancing is linked to the welfare of our Lodge manager, her family and all other members in residence.

  • Friends or guests are able to enter the lodge and must sign in via the QR code.  However, given we are governed by specific square meterage guidelines, please be sensitive to possible overcrowding issues.

  • Please make sure that you have secured ski ticket days that coincide with your accommodation prior to arriving at the lodge.

  • Whilst we cannot enforce you to download the COVID safe app, we strongly recommend you do. Preferably at least one member of your group/family.

  • Finally, if any member/guest staying in the lodge or the managers become unwell and are COVID-19 positive, the lodge may need to be evacuated and the affected person and or family will be housed in an isolation room (Room 32) within the lodge until a plan is put into place for their departure.

  • Any booking after a COVID-19 contraction, will be rescheduled / cancelled and refunded as per the need for a “deep clean” and to maintain the Redbank Lodge’s adherence to its COVID-19 Guidelines and Action Plan as per the NSW Government COVID-19 Safety Plan


All of the above is subject to change as Redbank Lodge monitors and reviews any changes made in the NSW Government COVID-19 Safety Plan.
